We visited as a large family group on a cold snowy day. We had a very good guide, Grayson. He knew lots of interesting facts and didn’t lose anyone on the tour. The cave seemed rather cozy compared to the snowy outdoors. Most spaces were quite open and well lit. Only a bit of challenge on some of the damp stairs.

It was a great experience! First time being in any caverns and very interesting! The tour guide was friendly and helpful. The gift shop was a bit of a disappointment but the caverns made up for it!

Our guide (a high school student, at that!!!) Was not only very knowledgeable, but funny! Took my 8 and 12yo for a tour, and they left full of knowledge and excitement about the experience. Lots of stairs to climb, but the guide was very patient with anyone needed more time with a very low pressure, no rush speed to the tour.

Bristol Caverns is an absolute must-see for anyone who appreciates natural beauty and history! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to an underground wonderland filled with stunning rock formations, beautifully lit passageways, and a fascinating glimpse into the Earth’s ancient past.

The tour was fantastic—our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing incredible details about how the caverns were once part of an ancient ocean and how centuries of flowing water sculpted the breathtaking stalactites, stalagmites, and vast open chambers. The lighting throughout the caverns is perfect, enhancing the natural beauty without feeling artificial, and it creates incredible opportunities for photography. Every turn reveals something even more awe-inspiring, from shimmering mineral deposits to towering rock formations.

The pathways are well-maintained and easy to navigate, making this a great experience for all ages. Whether you’re a history buff, a nature lover, or just looking for a unique adventure, Bristol Caverns is a place you won’t forget. Highly recommend!

Such a cool place and our guide was fantastic! A very child friendly tour as well, we have a rambunctious 2 year old and at no point ever felt concerned for his safety. Our guide was super knowledgeable and was just overall very pleasant to speak with along the tour. I wish we had brought cash for a tip though, so if you can, bring cash for your guide!

I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and just happened to be the only person on my tour. The guide, Eric, did a wonderful job of explaining different formations, pointing out fish in the water at the bottom, and a lot of the history of the cave. Having a degree in geology, he was able to answer any questions and allowed me to ask a thousand questions. I highly recommend visiting this site. Pictures really can’t do it justice!
